Invoicee (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use our invoicing and business records platform at invoicee.app.

2. Information We Collect

Account data: Name, email address, and password (hashed) on registration.
Business data: Company name, registration number, address, bank details you provide.
Customer data: Names, emails, and addresses of your customers that you enter.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and AI scan counts for quota management.
Payment data: Transaction reference numbers from Billplz. We do not store full card numbers.
Uploaded files: Profile avatars, product images, and receipt images stored in Supabase Storage.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the Invoicee service.
To enforce subscription plan limits and bill you for paid plans.
To generate and display invoices, quotations, and business records.
To process AI receipt scanning via the Google Gemini API.
To respond to support requests.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Supabase – Database, authentication, and file storage.
Billplz – Payment gateway for subscription billing.
Google Gemini API – AI processing of uploaded receipt images. Images are not retained by Google beyond the API call.
Vercel – Application hosting and deployment.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us, after which your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on all database tables, and server-side authentication. Sensitive keys are never exposed client-side.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your country, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict processing of your data.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies strictly required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
